博多旧市街における商機能の中心として、長年にわたり「せいもん払い」や「博多どんたく」、「博多祇園山笠」など様々な取組みを行う川端通商店街(上川端商店街振興組合、川端中央商店街振興組合)が、2018年2月1日(木)から、福岡・博多に訪れる外国人観光客にとってより便利になる4つのサービスを開始します。

• 川端通商店街全体で「Fukuoka City Wi-Fi」が利用できます！
• Free Wi-fi Available Throughout the Entire Arcade！
• 誰でも無料で使える公衆無線LANサービス「Fukuoka City Wi-Fi」が整備され、情報入手がスムーズに行えます。
  The free public Fukuoka City Wi-Fi service.accessible in Kawabata Shopping Arcade,allows any one to conveniently obtain information online.
• 多言語のホームページで商店街情報をお届けします。
• Multilingual Website
• 川端通商店街として新たにホームページを整備。
  上川端商店街、川端中央商店街の情報が、日本語はもとより、英語・韓国語・繁体字・簡体字で閲覧できます。
  Useful information and seasonal recommendations from Kawabata Shopping Arcade are available on its website in the following 4 languages:English,Korean,traditional Chinese,and simplified Chinese.

• Kawabata Area Map Comes in Various Languages！
• 商店街情報を掲載したマップを、ホームページと同様に英語・韓国語・繁体字・簡体字で作成。
• 主要箇所に配置され、情報入手に活用できます。
• This multilingual map contains detailed information about each shop in the Arcade as well as an overview of basic rules and etiquette that apply to the Arcade.
  Printed maps will be made available inside the Arcade as well as at other major locations within the city.

• 川端通商店街内に案内看板を複数台設置します。
• Multilingual Signboards in the Arcade.
• 約400ｍの商店街アーケード内に、約100ｍ間隔で4台の案内看板が設置されます。
  現在地や周辺施設、商店街内でのルール等が英語・韓国語・繁体字・簡体字で明記されています。
  この案内看板は、博多祇園山笠の山小屋をモチーフに、和の要素を取り入れたデザインとなっています。
  Signboards that indicate your current location as well as nearby must-see areas are placed throughout the Arcade.
  These signboards are designed with Japanese motifs from the Hakata Gion Yamakasa festival tents.
