Fukuoka City provides “Fukuoka City Wi-Fi” , a free public wireless LAN service for everyone, including foreigners.
Visitors can now enjoy 200 free high-speed accesses at one of the country’s largest Wi-Fi hotspots and the total number of access has reached 50 million.
“Fukuoka City Wi-Fi” usable area was extended at 46 places includes Fukuoka Tower, Fukuoka City Museum, Fukuoka Art Museum and Hakata Machiya Folk Museum since November 30, 2012. And furthermore, Sutton Hotel Hakata City (Lobby), Toyo hotel (Lobby), Fukuoka SRP Center Building, Fukuoka City NPO & Volunteer Exchange Center, Fukuoka Airport International Terminal (already available in Domestic Terminals) were added after December 2012.
